'My Brother' is a story about two very different brothers living with their loanshark mother (Kim Hae-suk). Won Bin plays Jong-hyeon , the younger brother, who is good at fighting and always looking for trouble. On the contrary his older brother, Seong-hyeon (Shin Ha-gyun) is tender and good at studying. Since they were small, they have received different treatment from their mother. The mother always compliments and treats Seong-hyeon with more love, which makes Jong-hyeon dislikes his own brother. On the other hand Seong-hyeon is a little bit jealous over Jong-hyeon because of his handsome face. The conflict grows deeper when both of them fall for Mi-ryeong (Lee Bo-yeong), the most beautiful girl in the neighbourhood. Will they continue carry on living hating each other? or will they find out the meaning of being brother?
The build up of the story is slow and steady. Thanks to the superb acting of both Won Bin and Shin Ha-gyun, the viewer is taken on a journey of sentimental scnenes, that will shed tears. Furthermore, this movie is completed with valuable gems in almost every aspect.
Final words: this is a very good movie and I'm sure that everyone will learn something new about life from this movie.
