**Spoiler Alert

Suh Boeun, a 15 year old 1st yr. highschool girl has a childhood friend named Park Sangmin, a 24 yr old playboy who enjoyed his primetime of being a single man.

The plot starts when Boeun meets Sangmin at the airport (for Sangmin has just finished his military work at somewhere part in the West). The two directly went to Boeun's grandfather (in his deathbed). After setting the atmosphere, Bouen's grandfather told a story of him together with Sangmin's deceased grandfather. Sangmin's grandfather was a comrade of Boeun's grandfather in the world war 2. the 2 had made a pact that their children will marry but it couldn't happen since they both have sons. In order to die peacefully, Boeun's grandfather decided to pass this pact down to the next generation (Sangmin and Bouen should be married!) Apparently, the two declined the wish of the grandfather. This old smart grandfather taught of a scene and pretended to be dying. Bouen, fearing that her grandfather will really die, granted & accepted the marriage and instantly, SANGMIN and BOUEN became HUSBAND and WIFE! The 2 separated their house from their parents. it seems that this folks were just playing. =) well they treated each other just like a younger sister and an older brother living together.

Being a highschool student, Boeun decided to keep this a secret from everyone except from her closest friend. Same with Bouen, Sangmin just spread the news to his closest colleagues. While enjoying the teenage life, Boeun has a relationship with Jung-woo, a baseball star player. Accidentally, Sangmin was assigned to teach Art subject in Bouen's school for his internship. Sangmin, appealing and looking cute-guy attracted Bouen's classmates and as well as a senior spinster teacher. (this helped the film to be really FUNNY!) The 2 kept to everybody and pretended not to know each other at school to prevent gossips and issues. Miss Kim, the spinster followed Sangmin and she also went to the couple's place. Upon observing Sangmin's house, she saw another person hiding at the curtain (its Boeun!). Bouen rushed and hides herself using the blanket and runs outside the house. Sangmin lied & pretended to have a weird sister. (FUNNY!)

Upon finishing Sangmin's internship, the relationship was revealed to Miss Kim when the 2 had troubled in their way home. The 2 got in to the Police's station and the principal together with the spinster went to fix the knot. The next day, Miss Kim assigned the class for school decoration. She purposely made Bouen's task to be the hardest as she wishes that Bouen will paint the whole backround of the stage ALONE. Sangmin can't resist in front of the class to avoid gossips. Poor Bouen. She will have to suffer and paint the bacground, herself. But, secretly, Sangmin pretended that he was not worried to his little bride. He edits the background at night and got home late. He pretended to be busy and didn't utter some words to Boeun. Bouen, unaware of what is really happening still sees her boyfriend secretly. While having a date on the same day of the family reunion, her brother's friend accidentally recorded Bouen's date at the video rental station. At home, the video was played and everyone saw what Boeun was doing. Boeun, seeing what had happened run outside the house, crying. Sangmin followed her. He tried to comfort Boeun even tough he should be the one to be comforted to (because he was broken-hearted). Bouen felt guilty of what happened and she was still blinded by the real situation. Upon returning home, her mother comforted Bouen and told her many things that happened when she and Sangmin was still kids. Sangmin really showed concern and comfort to the clumsy Bouen ever since and Boeun always enjoyed and treasured Sangmin's company. after that night, She went back to their apartment while Sangmin was very busy painting and finishing the background of the stage with his friends. Bouen entered to Sangmin's room and she found Sangmin's photo album. She found all their chilhood pictures together. Also, she found her letter to Sangmin(she gaved the letter during his military service), placed on Sangmin's organizer. After realizing this things, she got a call from Ji-soo, Sangmin's female friend and she told that Sangmin and his friends were busy painting the school's background stage. This was the most touching part of the story. Bouen run towards the school to look for Sangmin but the 2 didn't meet that night. the next day, it was the day of the program and Sangmin's last day in the school. Bouen talked to her boyfriend and she break their relationship, realizing that she loved Sangmin. In the program proper, Sangmin was given the opportunity to speak in the program. While thanking the faculty staff and the students, another student (Bouen's rival over her ex-boyfriend) revealed Sangmin's true identity, that he was married to a 15yr old highschool girl, BOUEN. Sangmin, afraid that her bride will be hurt, testify & said that she was just granting her grandfather's wish & marrying him was a NO to Bouen & Bouen loved another man. But Bouen stands at the front of everyone and told Sangmin that she was not aware of her TRUE fealings & she said that she was in loved to Sangmin!Upon hearing it, Sangmin kissed Bouen on her forehead & the 2 reconciled!=)

HAPPY ENDING! Try To watch this! its cool and worth watching for!

I first saw Kim Rae-Won in The Korean Drama "Which Star Are You From? and I just fell in love with his character and personality. I thought he was a very talented actor not to mention cute and funny too. Which is why I chose "my Little bride as my First korean movie to watch. And I'm glad I did!

"My Little Bride" is a Romantic Comedy Starring Moon Geun Young (Boeun), a innocent 15 year-old High School student whose's grandfather wants her to marry her childhood friend played by Kim Rae-Won (Sang-Min), a playboy who loves the single life. But the minute they are asked to "tie the not" they immediately say "NO!" So Boeun's grandfather decides to do a little scheming and plotting to get these two together. which somehow manages to work and they both decide to get married after all to fulfill her grandfather's last wish. Which then begins their married life and where all the sweet and comical scences come in. Because now they have to move in and live together, which her mother isn't happy about the idea at all. But first they have to go on their Honeymoon which is hilarious. But the thing that worries Boeun the most is how the kids will react to her being married becuase she is only a 15 year-old freshmen married to a 25 year-old man. So She decides to keep her marriag
e a secret from everyone hoping that no one finds out. But of course something unexpected happens that could reveal to the whole school that she has a husband. Which you have to watch the movie to find out what that is!

If you love Romantic Comedies and are a big fan of Kim Rae-Won, Then this is the movie for you. This movie has a lot of sweet and funny moments which I think everyone would enjoy. I thought the actors did a great job playing their characters and I would recommend everyone to watch "My Little Bride"

I thought that this movie was one of the cutest movies I have ever seen. Moon Geun Young plays the excellent role of a 16 year old freshman in high school who has to get married to a family friend (Kim Rae Won) to fulfill a family promise. Her grandfather is especially cute and comical in this movie as he tries everything in his power to have the reluctant Moon Geun Young and Kim Rae Won wed. It was funny to watch the older generation so involved in trying to have their children wed and the scenes that follow the parents' reactions are hilarious to watch. Both main characters later agree to marry after Moon's grandfather's scheme works and they begin their life together with an unusual honeymoon. Both characters are able to play out their roles in excellent fashion as they go from a brother sister relationship between family friends to husband and wife.

Kim Rae Won plays the role of a caring older brother figure, who cares for Moon Geun Young greatly despite his "naughty" ways. Although Moon is caught up in a relationship with her high school senior, she later realizes that she loves her husband. A touching scene is shown when Kim helps his little bride with a school project that seems impossible to finish, showing his loving nature towards her. This movie is a light film that is great to watch for the simple viewing pleasure. (It has a very cute ending as well). The cast collaborates well with each other and helps bring out the movie to its fullest potential. I recommend this movie for those that love romantic comedies.

When I first saw the two leading actors, I thought it was weird because of the age difference...but after seeing and understanding the storyline, this was a really cute and sweet movie. Most of the characters that Kim Rae Won has played have all had pretty much the same personality so I've never been much of a fan of his because he wasn't a very versitle actor. After seeing this movie, Kim Rae Won did a superb job. Moon Geun Young and Kim Rae Won were very compatible. This was a very sweet and cute story....as well as funny. Can't wait to see more of Moon Geun Young in future films. I'd recommend this movie to anyone who loves romantic comedies!

At first before watching this movie, I looked at the cover and I thought it would be yet again a love story that has difficult hardships. As the movie went on though, my thoughts changed. I sincerely enjoyed this movie because it is comical and very cute :)! Also it has 2 of my favorite actors in it. Kim Rae won who plays "Sang Min" is also in some other dramas such as LOVE STORY IN HARVARD, ATTIC CAT, and MY LOVE PATTZI. I think he is a great actor that can fit well into any character on the screen. Moon Geun Young is playing "Bo Eun." She is my favorite young teen actress because she is so lovable!

I love the way she talks and acts. I believe this movie can take to any audience. Maybe starting from the age of 13 because it does have some funny scenes that may not be appropriate for little children. The main plot is that Bo Eun and Sang Min have to get married due to the grandfather's last wish. At first they both have a tough time because of the age gap but as the story moves along, they find out that maybe their marriage was not forced from the beginning.
The movie itself was great to my eyes. I loved how the scenes were portrayed because it gave a very fun and lighterhearted mood. I think the director, Kim Ho Jun did a great job.
Overall, this movie would go under the genre of a romantic comedy but it is unique and cute and I give it 2 hands up!!!

Starring Kim Rae-Won and Moon Geun-Young, My Little Bride is a remake of a Hong Kong film called My Wife is 18. So few Korean romantic comedies (besides My Sassy Girl) portray the hero as a overtly gentle, patient, even-tempered man who does not hide these qualities under a layer of chauvinism. The contrast between the hero's character in this film and those characters in movies such as My Tutor Friend or My Boyfriend is Type B is truly refreshing to see, from a female perspective.

As a result of a promise between two grandparents, our hero and heroine, who have known each other since childhood, are forced to marry each other. The heroine (Boeun) shows her spunk almost immediately and it is quicky established that the hero (Sangmin) is a very nice guy. The movie details the evolution of their feelings as they try to keep their marriage a secret. Boeun is openly unwilling to stand for this arrangement, particularly because she is infatuated with a classmate. She tries to date this boy while pretending that her marriage does not exist. This is much more difficult than it seems, as Kim's character becomes a teacher at the high school of his new bride! Love triangles abound as older female characters (and younger female characters) collide.

Of course, there are many cliched complications to their little schemes which add to the appeal of this film. Despite my initial reservations at the idea of a college graduate and teenage girl getting married and living together, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this movie. It excels not only with the comedic elements, but also shows us Boeun's growing maturity in a believable way. Tender moments are scattered in the movie without being overly sentimental.
