The main thing that attracted me to this movie was the cast: Ha Ji Won and Yun Jung Hoon. I had already previously been exposed to their other works, such as Damo and in Yun Jung Hoon's case, the Yellow Hankerchief.
The movie itself is a total romance, not a romantic comedy. The atmosphere is rather serious, and only has hints of comedy here and there. The only comedic relief comes from Ha Ji Won's coworkers, who act in a "side" story. Basically, the story revolves around Ha Ji Won's character and a mysterious "Daddy Long Legs" that constantly helps her in times of great need. However, he does this secretly, preventing her from finding out who her hero is. From there, the story starts to go down the typical road of romantic films. However, towards the end of the movie, it gets a little complicated. It actually took me a while to understand what had happened.
Overall, I thought the movie was mediocre. I was expecting much more, yet I received nothing more than the usual romance. Nothing special at all. It was a film one would call "cute", yet nothing more.
The progression of the romance was especially disappointing-no climatic scenes that defined their relationship. In one word, their relationship was BLAND. One positive element was the acting. Ha Ji Won once again didn't fail to amaze me and Yun Jung Hoon further proved himself as an actor. Their chemistry was notable, however could have been accentuated by a better storyline.
I would recommend this movie to only those who are fans of the actors or are just desperate to watch a romantic movie.

it's a korean version of Animated Series Judy (Abbot)? Were she is raised as an orphan and stayed in a dorm with the help of his so-called Daddy Long legs which is eventually the brother of her dorm mate/ classmate Julia? Anyway, Good thing ha ji-won portrayed the role! i like her since The Phone and What Had Happened in Bali!

i think this is a GREAT film. i actually like the storyline. i felt the movie. i don't get moved by movies, but i really got moved by this movie. it's a good film and people should watch it.
i like the movie as a whole. i agree that Ha Ji Won and Yeon Jung Hoon were excellent. but i disagree that this is movie is something near "mediocre". i understood the story perfectly. i beg to disagree with most of the things you wrote. this is one of the best movies i have ever seen. i am a big movie fan and i can say that this is something worth watching.
this is one of my favorites.
