Barefoot Ki-Bong was a great movie based on a true story. When Ki-Bong was a small child suffered from a fever and became a "fool". Basically the story is about how Mr. Baek enters him in the National Amateur Marathon, and Ki-Bong agrees for the prize. Ki-Bong really wants the prize, so he can buy his mom artificial teeth. The villagers always cheat him out of money when he works for them, but as they watch him train hard for the marathon they begin to change positively. This a touching story of Ki-Bong and his mother. Also a little side story of Mr. Baek and his son. If you liked marathon, you will like this. This is similar to marathon in a way, but it is more comical. The main cast are; Shin Hyeon-joon, Kim Soo-mi, Im Ha-ryong, Tak Jae-hoon. I would rate this movie a 5 out of 5.
