This movie is basically very good!!Though it was a story bout 2 teasers who,sort of,fallen into each others,and was pictured something like "broke back mountain", i think there are more to it!! I think that the love between the two teasers are more to brotherhood care than the love between 2 lovers.. but it depends on the viewers though... Frankly speaking,after watching this movie, it makes me think a lot... like why do people fell in love though they know from the starting that their relationship is forbidden and end up as an emptiness all that kind of stuffs.. anyway,just watch it,you will never regret it!!one more thing left,the OST is magnificent as well!! if i were to rate this movie, i will give it a 5/5!!

This movie was a really great movie beacuse it shows me something I have never seen before and thats Korean Opera sort of, because we all seen the Chinese ones, like Farewell my Concubine, which was similar. The King and Clown is about these two friends who are actors that runaway after their little leader tries to punish them for not listening to them, so they started heading to the capital to become like the best actors there are, and so they had an idea to make fun of the king for being a horn dog, with his little concubine, and the play is really funny and who are a real success but upset the little officials for making fun of the king and so they had a chance to make the king laugh or else they will, die, so they did make him laugh and they became the kings and other official personal entertainers.

But then the king started falling in love with one of the clowns and stuff got really complicated, the king found out how his mother died when the clowns re-enacted his mothers death and the king killed the two people who caused his mothers death. Then the officials were trying to overthrow the king for being all rule breaky, and the two friends like brothers had to leave eachother but, the jealous little concubine plotted to frame the clown so she had something written that was in the clown's handwriting, but the other clown had his same handwriting, and sacraficed himself to save his friend, he then lost his eyesight, and at the end was really sad where they were real brotherly like and the palace was being attacked, so I was really touched with the two clowns relationship.
